Learn how to adapt knitting patterns to your own measurements and achieve a good fit for the garment you knit
Is it a recurring problem that the garment never turns out quite as you envisioned? Where the fit is never quite right, the sleeves a little too long, the sweater a little too short or tight across the bust?
With a little planning and knowledge of how to adapt knitting patterns to fit your body, you will hopefully be both more satisfied – and wear what you make for longer. Because clothes that fit well, we wear more often. In this course, you will learn more about what to consider when adapting knitting patterns to your own measurements. We will go through different shapes, circular yokes vs. raglan and set-in sleeves.
You will receive written course material during the course.
Materials
- Bring something to write with and on
- Measuring tape
- Knitting needles in 2 different sizes, e.g., 3 mm and 4 mm
- Yarn suitable for the needles
