Spinning Wheel Repair Course with Kai Valbjør
If you have a spinning wheel that needs repair and care, it's not always easy to find someone who can do it. In this course, you can learn to do simple repairs on your spinning wheel yourself.
The course covers simple repairs that are often necessary on spinning wheels, especially older ones, such as broken bobbins and flyers, worn bearings, and more. Participants will learn how to tighten loose parts, repair joints, broken components, etc.
Proper maintenance of the spinning wheel and how to care for it will also be a topic during the course.
The course lasts 7 hours over 2 sessions.
Materials and equipment
It's great if participants bring their own spinning wheels that need a little help. But you can also participate in the course even if you don't bring a spinning wheel.
Good work clothes are necessary. The course will be held outdoors or in an outbuilding, so dress according to the weather forecast.
